General information only, not immigration or legal advice. Reading an article does not create a client relationship. Requirements and policies can change; check the official sources before acting. Eligibility and outcomes depend on individual circumstances and decisions by the relevant authorities. No visa, permit, nomination, admission or permanent residence outcome is guaranteed.

Research your occupation realistically

Look into the work you hope to do, likely employer requirements and whether a provincial regulator controls entry to the profession. An overseas qualification or immigration credential assessment may not settle professional registration. Ask the relevant regulator about current requirements where applicable.

Keep job research separate from immigration permission

An employer’s interest is not the same as authorization to work. Review work-permit questions using official instructions and seek individual advice about your circumstances. Do not assume that every status permits employment or that any job will lead to permanent residence.

Budget for uncertainty

Consider the possibility that job searching or licensing may take longer than expected. Avoid spending money on offers tied to guaranteed immigration results or fabricated records. Planned Immigration does not recruit workers or source employers or job offers. Its immigration services cannot promise employment, a permit or permanent residence.

Preparation checklist

  • Check occupation and licensing requirements.
  • Clarify work authorization separately.
  • Reject purchased jobs and guaranteed outcomes.
